We increased and strengthened our global presence through a clear expansion strategy that consisted of the acquisition of four plants:

Grano Gruma strengthens its presence in the U.S.; It acquires assets of the "Albuquerque Tortilla Company" for 100 million pesos.
 
Grano In Russia, Gruma acquired leading plant producing tortillas of corn and wheat, and snacks "Solntse Mexico" for$7 million.
 
Grano Gruma acquired plant of tortillas “Casa de Oro Foods" in United States for $ 20 million.

Gruma buys Mill corn in Turkey by 15.5 billion dollars. Semolina in Turkey,  It is important to point out  that the new mill in Turkey is equipped with the most advanced milling technology for grits, a product used in the manufacturing of beer, cereals  and snacks. To penetratethis market we already had a corn mill in Italy and another in Ukraine, which  both manufactur grits as well.

With great success, we launched  the Mission brand in the self-service channel in Singapore and Malaysia. With this, we opened a door for our massmarket brand in Asia's southern region.
